Explore Morton’s Artificial Turf

Soccer, football, hockey, or rugby are all possible on the artificial grass fibers produced by Morton in Abtsteinach. More than 15,000 sports fields worldwide utilize our high-tech synthetic fiber—whether at the youth training center of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim or in USA’s National Football League.

How We Do It

We produce the most durable and resilient artificial turf fibers in the world. We have decades of industry experience at our disposal in-house, facilitating excellence at every stage. From creating synthetic materials to constructing production lines, from production process to quality control and shipping, Morton creates and delivers the best artificial turf material. We are the premiere experts in this technology and the market leader for this product in Europe.

Sustainability

Along with our focus on producing high-quality artificial turf material, environmental compatibility is also at the forefront of our work. We can produce artificial turf material with a high proportion of recycled plastics or even completely from rapeseed oil. We can use shredded olive stones for the turf’s infill, which is necessary for ensuring playability. Moreover, our production processes exclusively use electricity from renewable energy sources.

Who we are

We are about 200 employees working in all areas of the company, engaged in a wide variety of operations. Our employees include qualified engineers as well as rigorously trained people seeking a career change: everyone at our company understands the value we place on quality and consistency.

Morton is a subsidiary of Tarkett. We supply our fibers and film to our partner company, FieldTurf Tarkett, which in turn produces the finished artificial turf material.
